Laurie is a woman with questionable judgement and may not be reliable to make serious life decisions. I say this not to defame. She chose me. So I cannot in good conscious neglect to disclose this fact.
There are no words to say how proud I am of the young man I love more than life itself. He's creative, funny, kind, and way more adorable than should be allowed by law.
I served in the United States Navy for 20 years. It was an honor to do so and I'm proud to have had the opportunity.
Welcome! I’m glad you're here.
I’ve lived many lives in my time—each chapter shaped by experiences, lessons, and people I’ve encountered along the way. From personal triumphs to struggles, every part of my journey has played a role in who I am today.
I served in the United States Navy from 1999 to 2019, where I wore many hats as an Aircrewman. As a NATOPS Instructor, Radar Operator, and IMINT Operator, I helped train and lead others in critical operations. My role as a SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) Instructor added another layer to my experience, as I trained service members in life saving techniques under extreme conditions.
Outside of the military, I’ve been a College Student, Web Designer, Son, Father, Husband, and most recently a Cook. I’ve worked in professional kitchens under award winning chefs and find deep joy in cooking for my family and friends. It’s one of the ways I stay grounded and connected to the people I care about.
I’m passionate about golf, movies, music, and staying engaged with current events. Whether it’s hitting the links, watching the latest blockbuster, discovering new tunes, or discussing what’s happening around the world, I enjoy staying connected to life in both lighthearted and meaningful ways.
I’ve traveled around the world, including Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. I’ve visited 49 states and driven from Maine to California, from Washington to Florida. Every place I’ve been and every person I’ve met has added depth to my story.
This space is where I reflect on service, trauma, healing, and growth. It’s not polished or perfect, but it’s real. And if something here resonates with you, I’m grateful our paths have crossed.
